Alabama Educational Leadership Hall of Fame

AASB is proud to partner with Troy University and the Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools in recognizing some of the state's most influential education leaders and advocates through the Alabama Educational Leadership Hall of Fame. Established in 1982, the prestigious Hall of Fame Award recognizes the unique contributions of outstanding education leaders within the state for service to education at the local, district, state, regional and/or national level. 

The Hall of Fame is located on the campus of Troy University, where portraits of inductees are displayed prominently in the University's College of Education building. The Award is conferred every two years. 

Local school board members, superintendents and former executive directors of the Alabama Association of School Boards are among the illustrious list of inductees.
