Mark Story has been a member of the Dallas County Board of Education since 2005. He was elected to serve as AASB's District 2 director in December 2025. He has served on AASB's Advocacy Committee and reached level four in the School Board Member Academy, earning more than 290 professional development hours. 

Mark is the owner of a health equipment store.
