It's that time of the year again! We want to showcase your talented students at our Annual Convention! 

The Alabama Association of School Boards is now accepting student entertainment applications for vocal, instrumental, performing arts and ROTC groups interested in performing at AASB's annual December Convention.

Selected finalists will be featured in a social media contest this fall and your school and communities will be able to vote for their favorite group. The student groups will perform before an audience of more than 500 school board members and superintendents from across Alabama at the annual December Convention which will be held December 2-4, 2021, at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham - The Wynfrey Hotel.

Submit a student entertainment application by Friday, Aug. 27. 

Submit a Clinic Proposal for This Year's Annual Convention! 

Do you have a governance best practice or innovative program you'd like to share with school board peers? Submit a proposal to present a clinic session during the annual AASB Convention at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham - The Wynfrey Hotel, Dec. 2-4, 2021.

Topics may cover a variety of areas, including effective board leadership and governance practices, navigating legal issues, technology that engages students, programs proven to boost achievement and more. 

Submit a clinic proposal by Friday, July 9.
