M.A.S.K Up: Make Alabama Safe for Kids
3-Aug-2021
As students head back to school for the 2021-22 academic year, the Alabama Association of School Boards (AASB) supports our schools in their decision to mandate masks for students based on guidance from the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). COVID-19 cases in Alabama are continuing to rise with the more contagious Delta variant at the forefront. While we believe having students in school provides the optimal learning experience, we also believe masking is the best way to keep them there while limiting the spread of the virus.
M.A.S.K Up, Alabama!
