Let's Celebrate our Education Heroes! 

Join AASB in celebrating Alabama Education Heroes Week starting Sept. 28 through Oct. 2, 2020! We are taking time to show our appreciation to those who are working tirelessly in our school systems to ensure Alabama's students are fully supported and continuing to learn. We want to recognize our state's classroom teachers, superintendents, school board members, principals, nurses, lunch staff, school personnel and support staff as the heroes they are!

You can join the celebration by following the week's suggested activities below and using #ALEducationHeroes on social media! 

 

  Monday, Sept. 28 - Friday, Oct. 2

Monday - Share an inspirational message to classroom teachers across the state as they power through this unique school year.

Tuesday - Send a shout out to school nurses and lunchroom staff for supporting the health and nutritional wellness of our students.

Wednesday - Write a thank you note or post to your superintendents and school board members for continuing to lead with resilience.

Thursday - Post a video or message expressing your appreciation for school principals and their unwavering dedication to students' education.

Friday - Share a post recognizing the hard work of all school personnel and support staff who play a huge role in establishing a safe and supportive learning environment.
