Job Title: Superintendent of Geneva City Schools
Job Description:
The Geneva Board of Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated leader with a strong background in driving student success to become its next superintendent.
Required Qualifications:
Alabama law requires the superintendent be chosen for general fitness and character and that he or she be knowledgeable in school administration. The successful applicant also must hold at least a master's degree from an accredited college or university. A doctorate is preferred. Qualified candidates must also demonstrate a proven track record as a superintendent.

The Geneva Board of Education is seeking a leader with a demonstrated ability to raise student achievement to serve as the board’s next superintendent. The board is also seeking a candidate who:
- Demonstrate integrity and responsibility in decision-making
- Prioritize student success and well-being
- Inspire and guide staff, students and the community toward excellence
- Possess a foward-thinking mindset
- Bring a proven track record of enhancing student achievement
Additional Information:
The salary range is between $125,000-$165,000 based on experience and a proven track record.
