The AASB Board of Directors includes a president, vice president, immediate past president as well as nine district directors representing geographic areas of the state. Nominations are now being accepted for vice president and president, and district director elections open soon in AASB Districts 2, 4, 6 and 8. District 2 Director Donald Nichols has served the maximum two terms and is unable to seek re-election. District 4’s Gwen Harris Brooks, District 6’s Kathy Landers and District 8’s Karen Duke are eligible for re-election. A memo containing details has been mailed. More about AASB governance.
